Undergraduates

We welcome undergraduate researchers from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Engineering departments. We host students from Vanderbilt University and other (international) institutions. If you are interested in working in the area of ultrafast spectroscopy, photophysics and photochemistry of nanoscale materials please contact tobias.hertel@vanderbilt.edu.

Currently we offer the following projects:

  • Stability analysis of DNA-carbon nanotube hybrid structures.

  • Structural sorting of metallic carbon nanotubes.

  • Singlet Oxygen interaction with carbon nanotubes.
