Biographies of Krieger and Foust
Karen Ann
Krieger is building an international reputation
as a pianist, lecturer/clinician, composer and teacher. An accomplished
classical and jazz pianist, Ms. Krieger is equally at home writing piano compositions
or working in a recording studio with the latest computer synthesizer
technology. Under the direction of Columbia and Allied Artists Management, Ms.
Krieger has performed nationwide as one-half of the Neal Ramsay Duo. As a solo
artist, she has also toured England, Scotland, Cyprus, and British Columbia.
She has thrilled a wide range of audiences during piano and accordion
performances with the Nashville Symphony, the Atlanta Russian Orchestra, and
the Gregg Allman Band.
Ms. Krieger holds an M.M. in Piano
Performance from the University of Illinois. She's currently an Associate
Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy and the Collegiate Piano Chair at
Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms.
Krieger has also gained recognition as an ADDY award-winning television news
and weather anchor. She considers covering Presidents Reagan and Carter (for
whom she performed) to be her most memorable experiences.
Stephan Foust
is an Emmy-nominated video producer, writer and journalist, Based in Nashville,
Tennessee. A former teacher and coach, Mr. Foust has won numerous Associated
Press and United Press International Awards for his work in television news,
plus national and international recognition for his video productions. During
his career, Mr. Foust has covered and worked with world leaders, sports stars,
noted musicians and famous entertainers, but he considers marrying Karen Ann
Krieger the highlight of his life. Foust teaches journalism at Belmont University.
