Beethoven lived pretty well. Holidays in the suburbs had that rustic, spacious feel. |

Schubert lived rather differently, not being able to afford the center of town, nor the luxury of the holiday suburbs. Even his family lived on a busy street with tall, light-impeding buildings. Of course, they had horses (and manure) instead of cars to annoy them. |
