 Beethoven was associated with the aristocracy. Schubert was associated with the middle class.
 Beethoven moved around a lot. Schubert moved in with people.
 Beethoven lived pretty well. Schubert courted poverty.
 Beethoven was messy and depressive. Schubert was fussy but cheerful.
 Beethoven was not easy to like. Schubert had lots of friends.
 Beethoven (probably) liked women. Schubert (probably) liked men.
 Beethoven is best known for his big concerts. Schubert is best known for intimate musical gatherings.
 Beethoven died an old guy. Schubert died young.
